Scientific publishers being told they can't keep fleecing the taxpayer so badly are basically Cliven Bundy. Discuss.

    It sounds like the guy believes in the free market.

    Ask him why Elsevier bundles subscriptions to libraries. Libraries can't practically pick and choose journals. This bundling supports mediocre journals that don't add value.

    Oh eff that guy. Not like Elsevier built Cell brand anyhow- they purchased it, then leveraged it. If they were adding so much value, why can't they keep any editors around? They are gross.
